This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through cortxiq.com. It covers this website only. If your organisation uses the Cortx IQ service, the Cortx IQ Privacy Notice and the agreement with your organisation explain how we handle the data held in the service. Your organisation can give you a copy, or you can ask us.

Who we are

Cortx IQ is operated by Yentra.ai Limited, registered in England and Wales with company number 16348449. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. Yentra.ai Limited is the controller of the personal data described here.

You can contact us about privacy at privacy@cortxiq.com, or write to us at the registered office.

What we collect and why

When you visit the site. Our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, processes the technical information needed to deliver and secure the pages, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use this only to run and protect the site. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising tags or tracking pixels on this site, and our fonts are served from our own domain.

When you book a call. The booking buttons take you to a Google Calendar booking page. When you book, we receive your name, email address and any details you enter. We use them to arrange the call, prepare for it and follow up with you afterwards, including with information about Cortx IQ that relates to your enquiry. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

When you email us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. Our email is provided by Google. We use your message to reply to you and to deal with your request.

When you contact us about a role. The careers link opens a LinkedIn profile, and the site also links to our LinkedIn company page. Anything you send through LinkedIn is handled under LinkedIn's terms, and we use it only to reply to you or to consider you for a role.

Our lawful basis

We rely on our legitimate interests in running a secure website and in responding to people who contact us or ask to hear from us. Where you ask for a demo or a proposal, we also rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

We use Google to host the site and to provide our email and booking services, and LinkedIn for careers contact. They process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

Google and LinkedIn may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and contact details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows, then delete them. Hosting logs are kept by Google under its own retention settings.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

To make a request, email privacy@cortxiq.com or write to us at the registered office.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at privacy@cortxiq.com, or contact us by any other means. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it without undue delay and tell you the outcome.

You can also complain to the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commission (still known as the ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
